Ahrefs
Ahrefs is a multinational team headquartered in Singapore. We are a lean start-up that values making meaningful and easy-to-use products.
We shift things fast to give our customers what matters most to them, and to keep us ahead of the game. Our motto is "First do it, then
do it right, then do it better."
Our history
Our CEO, Dmitry, built his first document search engine when he was only 15. His interest in search engines never waned and in 2007,
he revisited his work on search engines for documents and files. This led to the birth of our backlinks index in 2010, which in turn
became the source of data for Ahrefs' first version of Site Explorer.
When launched, Site Explorer disrupted the stagnant field of backlink analysis and kick-started a new round of competition
among SEO tool providers. It quickly became one of the world's best backlink analysis tools.
From our humble beginnings, Ahrefs has steadily grown. Today, we update our index with the freshest backlinks on the web
every 15 minutes, and our crawler processes up to 8 billion pages a day. That's more than a third of what Googlebot does!
Alexa Information. Insight. Advantage.
Information is power - if you have the right tools. Alexa's suite of intuitive analytics products transforms data into meaningful
insights that lead to competitive advantage for your company.
At Alexa, we focus exclusively on delivering the richest and most meaningful analytics tools for our customers. Our obsession
is to empower customers through compelling and actionable insights that drive measurable results for their business. At Alexa, we believe
strongly in substance over style, which means you can count on getting the exact insights you need without having to navigate through
extraneous content to get the information you need right now.
Founded in 1996, Alexa is a global pioneer in the world of analytical insight. Our vast experience means we've dealt with all
of the pitfalls and tripped over all of the landmines, and over time, developed the most robust and accurate web analytics service of any
provider.
Our Data
Alexa's traffic estimates are based on data from our global traffic panel, which is a sample of millions of Internet users using one of
many different browser extensions. In addition, we gather much of our traffic data from direct sources in the form of sites that have
chosen to install the Alexa script on their site and certify their metrics. However, site owners can always choose to keep their
certified metrics private.
Our global traffic rank is a measure of how a website is doing relative to all other sites on the web over the past 3 months.
The rank is calculated using a proprietary methodology that combines a site's estimated average of daily unique visitors and its estimated
number of pageviews over the past 3 months. We provide a similar country-specific ranking, which is a measurement of how a website ranks
in a particular country relative to other sites over the past month.

Amaya
Amaya (formerly Amaya World) is a discontinued free and open source WYSIWYG web authoring tool with browsing
abilities.
It was created by a structured editor project at the INRIA, a French national research institution, and later adopted
by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as their testbed for web standards; a role it took over from the Arena web
browser. Since the last release in August 2012, INRIA and the W3C have stopped supporting the project and active
development has ceased.
Amaya has relatively low system requirements, even in comparison with other web browsers from the era of its active
development period, so it has been considered a "lightweight" browser.

HypeStat
About HypeStat.com . HypeStat is free statistics and analytics service, where you can find information about every website.
Many of us that own websites always wonder what would be the value of our website if we were to sell them today. Some of us
may also be seriously trying to establish the value of our websites to sell them either because we are unable to manage them or because
we are in need of money. Whatever is the case, it is always a good thing to know what your website is worth.
Number of factors need to be taken into consideration when you try to establish the value of your website. Here are some
important factors that go into your website's value consideration.
One of the most important factors that needs to be considered is the number of visitors per day. If your website gets highest
visitor traffic or if the daily visits per day is high, then the value of your website will be proportionately high. You may have invested
thousands of dollars in creating a graphically stunning website but if its traffic level is very low, you cannot expect a high value for
your website.
Secondly, the number of backlinks you have also matters a great deal. If you have been constantly working your website's link
building and acquired a lot of back links then your website's online popularity will be high and so will be your website's value.
Thirdly, your website's Google PageRank is of another major factor for consideration. Google which is plays monopoly in the
search industry ranks websites using its own trademark ranking algorithm called PageRank. Webmasters lose their night's sleep on
increasing their website's page rank. It is not without reason that the entire SEO industry tries to spend so much of money and time on
improving their page rank. The higher the PageRank, the greater the value of your website. Website's with good PageRank tend to rank
better in the search result's page.
Yet another factors that is important are your website's Alexa rank, social media reputation, page speed.
Websites with many years of history are more valuable than brand new sites. Added to this, your domain name has also a
decisive role to play in establishing your website's value. If you have a premium domain, then your website will be worth several
thousand dollars.
At HypeStat you can also check where site is hosted, page speed optimization tips, whois report.
If you think it is too much for you to handle, you can hire a professional company that will estimate the value of your
website and provide you with a detailed report. However, you will have to pay huge fees to get your website's value estimated.
Alternatively, you can use HypeStat.com to get a free estimation of your website's worth and usefull statistics data. This is an
absolutely free service that will help you get a highly realistic value of your website.
validator.w3.org
The Markup Validator is a free service by W3C that helps check the validity of Web documents.
Most Web documents are written using markup languages, such as HTML or XHTML. These languages are defined by technical
specifications, which usually include a machine-readable formal grammar (and vocabulary). The act of checking a document against
these constraints is called validation, and this is what the Markup Validator does.
Validating Web documents is an important step which can dramatically help improving and ensuring their quality, and it
can save a lot of time and money (read more on why validating matters). Validation is, however, neither a full quality check,
nor is it strictly equivalent to checking for conformance to the specification.
This validator can process documents written in most markup languages. Supported document types include the HTML
(through HTML 4.01) and XHTML (1.0 and 1.1) family, MathML, SMIL and SVG (1.0 and 1.1, including the mobile profiles). The
Markup Validator can also validate Web documents written with an SGML or XML DTD, provided they use a proper document type
declaration.
This validator is also An HTML validating system conforming to International Standard ISO/IEC 15445—HyperText Markup
Language, and International Standard ISO 8879—Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) – which basically means that in
addition to W3C recommendations, it can validate according to these ISO standards.

Wikipedia
Wikipedia is a multilingual open-collaborative online encyclopedia created and maintained by a community of volunteer editors
using a wiki-based editing system. It is one of the 15 most popular websites as ranked by Alexa, as of August 2020. Featuring no ads, it
is hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, an American non-profit organization funded primarily through donations.
Wikipedia was launched on January 15, 2001, by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. Sanger coined its name as a portmanteau of
"wiki" and "encyclopedia". It was initially an English-language encyclopedia, but versions in other languages were quickly developed. With
6.2 million articles, the English Wikipedia is the largest of the more than 300 Wikipedia encyclopedias. Overall, Wikipedia comprises
more than 55 million articles attracting 1.5 billion unique visitors per month.
Wikipedia has been criticized for its uneven accuracy and exhibiting systemic and gender bias, where the majority of editors
are male. However, edit-a-thons have been held to encourage female editors and increase the coverage of women's topics. In 2006 Time
magazine stated that the open-door policy of allowing anyone to edit had made Wikipedia the biggest and possibly the best encyclopedia
in the world, and was a testament to the vision of Jimmy Wales. The project's reputation improved further in the 2010s as it increased
efforts to improve its quality and reliability. In 2018 Facebook and YouTube announced that they would help users detect fake news by
suggesting links to related Wikipedia articles.
