In computing, a log file is a file that records either events that occur in an operating system or other software runs, or messages between different
users of a communication software. Logging is the act of keeping a log. In the simplest case, messages are written to a single log file.
A transaction log is a file (i.e., log) of the communications between a system and the users of that system, or a data collection method that
automatically captures the type, content, or time of transactions made by a person from a terminal with that system. For Web searching, a transaction log
is an electronic record of interactions that have occurred during a searching episode between a Web search engine and users searching for information on
that Web search engine.
Many operating systems, software frameworks and programs include a logging system. A widely used logging standard is syslog, defined in Internet
Engineering Task Force (IETF) RFC 5424). The syslog standard enables a dedicated, standardized subsystem to generate, filter, record, and analyze log
messages. This relieves software developers of having to design and code their own ad hoc logging systems.

Desire . The same sense is expressed by words such as "craving".
When a person desires something or someone, their sense of longing is excited by the enjoyment or the thought of the item or person, and
they want to take actions to obtain their goal. The motivational aspect of desire has long been noted by philosophers (for example, stating
that human desire is the fundamental motivation of all human action) as well as by scientists
(see motivational salience).
Marketing and advertising companies have used psychological research on how desire is stimulated to find more effective ways to
induce consumers into buying a given product or service. While some advertising attempts to give buyers a sense of lack or wanting, other
types of advertising create desire associating the product with desirable attributes, by showing either a celebrity or a model with the
product.
Desire plays a key role in art. The theme of desire is at the core of romance novels, which often create drama by showing cases
where human desire is impeded by social conventions, class, or cultural barriers. The theme of desire is also used in other literary genres,
such as Gothic novels (e.g., Dracula by Bram Stoker, in which desire is mingled with fear and dread). Poets ranging from Homer to Toni
Morrison have dealt with the theme of desire in their work. Just as desire is central to the written fiction genre of romance, it is the
central theme of melodrama films, which use plots that appeal to the heightened emotions of the audience by showing "crises of human
emotion, failed romance or friendship", in which desire is thwarted or unrequited.

Determination is a positive emotional feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of obstacles. Determination occurs prior
to goal attainment and serves to motivate behavior that will help achieve one's goal. Empirical research suggests that people consider determination
to be an emotion; in other words, determination is not just a cognitive state, but rather an affective state. In the psychology literature,
researchers have studied determination under other terms, including challenge and anticipatory enthusiasm; this may explain one reason for the
relative lack of research on determination compared to other positive emotions.
In the field of psychology, emotion research is heavily focused on negative emotions and the action tendencies that they encourage.
However, recent work in positive psychology incorporates the study of determination as a positive emotion that pushes individuals toward action and
results in important outcomes such as perseverance And determination take success.
The word determination comes from the Latin word determinatio, meaning "limit" or "determination, end result." It is derived from the
verb determinare, meaning "confine; designate," with the abstract noun suffix -tio. The meaning shifted from "end result, decision" to its present
meaning.
